Distribution Yard Manager – Waradala, Divulapitiya

We are looking for a competent individual with a proven track record to manage one of the most significant energy suppliers to cater in north west region of Gampaha district. Our distribution and stock yard is situated at Waradala, Divulapitiya with a dedicated distribution fleet with a state-of-the-art stock yard. We have been the industry leader for the last 30 years distributing a brand existing in the market for over 150 years. Our business is unique, competitive and our target market is challenging and prominent in the energy sector.

Job description

1. Manage yard operations, and daily distribution planning.
2. Distribution channel management along with commercial business development.
3. Deploying operational staff to the distribution requirements.
4. Stock maintaining, order planning and bridging.
5. Manage sales executives and plan their work, set sales targets.
6. Prepare monthly reports and meet deadlines.

Competence and requirements

1. Age should be between 30-45 years.
2. GCE advanced level and a suitable secondary qualification; university diploma/degree is an added advantage.
3. Competence in communicate in english and sinhalese is a must and knowledge in tamil is an added advantage.
4. Knowledge in MS office, IT, and accounting software is strongly considered.
5. Suitable candidate should be with a sound personality and female candidates also will be considered.
6. Potential candidate should be able to be flexible in working hours and be prepared to work long hours if situation demands.
7. Candidate should have the knowledge on human resource management and employee welfare procedures.
8. Candidate should have over at least 01 year or above experience in the similar operations/ distribution experience is considered.
9. Candidates reside in divulapitiya, kotadeniyawa, badalgama and pannala areas would be considered over the others. (however, if you think you are capable in taking up this suitable career, we could also consider providing accommodation)
