Marketing Assistant
Cooplife Insurance LTD is seeking a dynamic Marketing Assistant to support and execute marketing initiatives at our Head Office in Colombo 03. The primary focus of this role is on planning and implementing marketing campaigns, promoting life insurance products, coordinating with the sales team, and maintaining marketing records. A secondary but important aspect is creating visual content such as social media posts and e-flyers, leveraging basic graphic design and digital tools to enhance campaign effectiveness. This role is ideal for a proactive, marketing-focused professional with a creative edge.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and monitor marketing campaigns to promote life insurance products.
- Support the sales team in lead generation and customer engagement initiatives.
- Coordinate promotional activities, events, and digital marketing efforts.
- Maintain marketing databases and prepare campaign performance reports.
- Create basic visual content, including social media posts, e-flyers, and digital materials, to support marketing campaigns.
- Assist in brand promotion and enhance customer awareness through creative marketing strategies.
Requirements
- Minimum educational qualification: credit passes for English and mathematics at G.C.E. ordinary level.
- G.C.E. advanced level and/or diploma in marketing/business will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and campaign execution.
- Good communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with digital content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Proficiency in MS Office and other IT applications.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Prior experience in marketing or insurance will be an advantage.
