Internal Audit Assistant

Cooplife Insurance Ltd is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Internal Audit team as an Internal Audit Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are eager to build a career in auditing within the insurance industry.

Key requirements

Educational qualifications:

1. Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field, or
2. Currently enrolled in or pursuing a professional qualification such as CA Sri Lanka, CIMA, ACCA, or AAT
3. Understanding of insurance industry regulations and financial reporting standards will be an added advantage

Technical skills:

1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, for financial analysis and reporting

Core competencies:

1. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement
2. High attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing documents and performing audits
3. Good communication skills for preparing clear audit reports and engaging with stakeholders
4. Ability to identify risks and recommend effective solutions

6. Commitment to confidentiality when handling sensitive company information
