Responsibilities
- Planning of procurement based on the daily material requisitions received from each department.
- Negotiating with the suppliers & preparing purchase orders (PO).
- Follow up with vendors to ensure the timely delivery of the purchased good and services.
- Ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments to vendors.
- Good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
- Problem solving, analytical and planning ability.
- Flexibility and being able to deliver results under tight deadlines.
Preferred requirements
- Diploma or any similar qualification in business management/ accounting & finance/ supply chain management.
- Having a degree in the above disciplines would be an added advantage.
- Minimum two (02) years of experience in a similar capacity in a reputed organization.
- Hands on experience on engineering item purchasing will be added advantage.
- Hands on experience in an ERP system related to procurement is preferred.
