Senior executive – marketing & events

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Executive – Marketing and Events to lead the Chamber’s marketing initiatives, manage events, and drive membership growth. The ideal candidate will excel in social media management, creative design using platforms like Canva, and strategic marketing to promote the Chamber’s activities and publications.

Key responsibilities

Membership & relationship management

1. Develop new membership opportunities.
2. Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing members.
3. Network actively with members and guests at all ECCSL events.

Event management & marketing

1. Conceptualize, plan, and execute revenue-generating events for the Chamber.
2. Promote and market all ECCSL events across various channels.
3. Coordinate with digital media/content partners to ensure event coverage and engagement.
4. Drive event revenue through sponsorships, advertising, and strategic partnerships.

Publication & editorial responsibilities

1. Oversee the marketing and overall responsibility of the quarterly trade and business magazine.
2. Contribute editorial content and source advertisements for the publication.
3. Ensure high-quality production and timely distribution of the magazine.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, events, and/or membership-driven organizations.
3. Strong knowledge of social media management and digital marketing strategies.
4. Proficiency in design platforms like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
5. Excellent communication, networking, and interpersonal skills.
6. Results-oriented with a proven track record in revenue generation and event management.
