Sales manager – industrial chemicals

Job responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to promote and sell chemicals for rubber manufacturing related industries.
  2. Identify and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to create targeted marketing plans.
  3. Collaborate with the sales team to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and identify potential new customers.
  5. Prepare market analysis reports, sales forecasts, and performance metrics to guide strategic decision-making.
  6. Develop promotional materials and support the product team in launching new chemicals and dyes to the market.

Candidate profile

  1. 10-15 years of experience in rubber industry, preferably in the chemicals sector.
  2. A degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Sinhala (Tamil proficiency will be an added advantage).
  4. Sound knowledge of rubber products, applications, and industry trends.
  5. A proactive team player with excellent negotiation and networking skills.
