Visiting Lecturers / Trainers – Tourism & Tour Guiding

Sipway Campus, a rapidly growing higher education institute, is seeking dynamic and qualified Lecturers to join our academic team for online and physical lectures. We invite applications from individuals able to work in the Matale and Kurunegala areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver online lectures and training sessions for assigned modules.
• Develop and update teaching materials aligned with industry standards.
• Conduct student assessments including assignments, presentations, and case studies.
• Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students.
• Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement.
• Supervise and evaluate industry training for internship modules.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• A Master’s Degree or professional qualifications will be a distinct advantage.
• Minimum 3–5 years of industry and/or teaching experience.
• Experience as a licensed tour guide is preferred for tour guiding modules.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English.
• Familiarity with online teaching platforms such as LMS and Zoom.
