Executive – Human Resource Development
We are on the lookout for a dynamic and energetic individual to join the Divisional LHR – Learning & Development team as an Executive – Human Resources Development (Executive Work Level). This role requires to execution of all functions of the assigned talent management pillar within the Division/ Manufacturing facility ensuring adherence to set HR processes designed to attract, develop, motivate, and retain talent to support the organization in creating high-performance teams that enable the achievement of current and long-term goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- ·Work in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate and organize the best programs that aim to bridge current skills gaps and ensure the talent pool is equipped with the right skill set to support the achievement of current and future business requirements.
- Ensure adherence to the key functions of the Learning and Development pillar to support the management in achieving its set objectives.
- Continuously improve training processes through pre and post-evaluations of all training and detailed analysis for feedback and management decision-making.
- Ensure timely completion of the goal setting and appraisal process within the stipulated time frame; Coordinating with heads of departments on the performance appraisal process, Work with HR and Management to meet the internal and group time frames & Liaise with the central team on system issues and follow set direction to resolve issues promptly.
- Work with department heads in the identification of training and development needs to be derived through the IDPs and design/develop suitable training/ development programs to enhance skills across the organization.
- Assist with new initiatives, support projects/improvements, and training strategies, to enable achievement of business strategy/imperatives.
- Ensure that training and development are carried out systematically from the IDPs and through the other development requests.
- Coordination of training initiatives across the Cluster and also through the provision of quality assured systems/procedures to monitor and control training spending against budget.
- Coordinate with external training providers and internal departments on all aspects including the following; Selection of service providers/participants, Monitor participant attendance & Preparing / maintaining all relevant documentation, and updating the internal training tracker.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams and management to ensure a seamless flow of required tasks within the stipulated timeframe.
- Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by management.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Business Management/Human Resources and/or any other relevant area
- 1 – 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar capacity
- Sound communication and Negotiation skills
- Advanced Excel skills/ Analytical skills
- Fluency in the Oracle Talent Management System
