Software Engineer / Technical Consultant

We are looking for passionate candidates to join the Sri Lankan operations of an Australian-based cutting edgeTechnology Company serving both government and private organizations in Australia, England, and New Zealand.

This can be a part-time ‘full-time (multiple positions available) contract with the possibility to join the permanent carder based on your performance. Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the software and information technology teams to specify, design, and implement
• Complete basic to complex quality code changes/data conversion scripts according to requirements
• Undertake unit testing of developments/code changes and liaise with the Quality Assurance team
• Ability to work directly with foreign clients with minimum supervision
• Provide technical support to Customers, liaising directly with them to investigate and resolve queries
• Ensure work is being completed within the estimated time, and communicate issues with the team leader

Essential

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science IT or equivalent qualification
• Excellent English verbal & written communication skills
• Strong Customer SerVice focus
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to solve problems
• Logical Decision making and ability to take initiative
• Strong sense of achievement (results and delivery oriented)

Preferred

• Microsoft Visual Studio (VB.NÉT is desirable) web API
• Good TSQL and SQL Server knowledge
• Experience working with ERP systems
• Crystal Reports/SSRS
• Mobile App Development – iOS, Android and Windows
