Security Analyst (Physical / Facility / IP / Cyber)

The Department

This is a staff position that directly reports to the CEO. During the initial period of information gathering and knowledge building, you’ll be in close collaboration with and under the guidance of the CEO. After this stage, you will be working mostly autonomously, while being in constant communication with everyone across the team during the implementation stages. 

Your Role

• This is a brand new role in our Colombo HQ. You will be responsible for Excelytics’ integral security strategy and its implementation
• Your Mission will be to achieve a High Level of Security for the Company across all areas – Physical, Facility, Intellectual Property, and Cyber 
• You will understand and analyze possible current and future exposure to threats, including fire, water, natural disasters, war, burglary, theft, robbery, violence, corporate spying, and any other criminal activities
• You will develop and implement action plans to mitigate risks and deal with events
• You will raise risk awareness within the team and educate team members across departments to behave correctly
• In collaboration with an external IT Security Consultant, you will elaborate on and implement an IT Security Agenda

Your Profile

• You are a highly Analytical Person with a good imagination and proven ability to work deeply on abstract levels and within theoretical scenarios
• Ideally, you have experience in highly analytical roles within the military, police, or private sector
• You are a strategic thinker and proficient in decision-making, and you have the ability to function independently with a proactive, self-starter attitude and results-oriented attitude
• Speaking and writing in English comes naturally to you, and you do so with strong interpersonal skills and on a very high level
