Associate – AMS – Assurance
As part of our EY-Assurance Team, the role requires the incumbent to proactively develop relationships with the global EY teams serving these engagements and supervise the delivery of GDS engagement management support activities. We’re looking for the incumbents who are responsible to coach, mentor, and developing a strong team, managing utilization and growing the depth and breadth of our support to the organization’s priority engagements.
The opportunity we’re looking for candidates with experience in General Management who can effectively work within the GDS framework and assist the different Assurance teams within tight deadlines.
Your key responsibilities
- Assist engagement teams with various processes, such as multi-location coordination, engagement economics, confirmations, project and database management
- Maintain and update global engagement team databases and contact lists as appropriate
- Collate relevant client information from publicly available databases and communicate it to the team via firm publications and databases
- Assuming responsibility for all work and ensuring that the work is reviewed thoroughly before the output is sent out as per the deadline
- Accurately identifying problems, and exceptions and ensuring that the regional engagement team has been informed about them in a timely manner
- Work proactively and respond to regional stakeholders
- Attend and participate in weekly or Biweekly calls with the regional counterparts and share progress and status updates
- Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with the teams by having an open and honest communication
- Proactively reaching out to the teams soliciting feedback for the work and taking appropriate action

To qualify for the role, you must have
- GCE — A completed or graduates
- 2–4 years of operations and account management, along with project management exposure preferred
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Interest in business and commerciality.
- High Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data visualization tools.
- Project management skills (certification or pursuing certifications will be an added advantage).
