Job Description 

• Join a team of engineers (SMEs and generalists) to create frameworks, services, and tools to increase productivity, quality, and joy of development
• Be an active mentor to junior engineers Participate in the team’s on-call rotation, triaging and addressing production issues
• Raise the bar of the company’s engineering culture

Requirements

•  BS degree in Computer Science, or equivalent hands-on experience
• 5+ years of experience building distributed systems and/or infrastructure tooling
• We use Go, Typescript, Python, data stores – MySQL, Redis, and message queues – Kafka, RabbitMQ. Experience with any similar technology or language is fine
• Self-learner, independent, and have outstanding problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Very comfortable with all aspects of backend engineering and methodologies like coding, testing, observability
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, or equivalent hands-on experience
• 2+ years of experience with cloud technologies like AWS, Kubernetes, etc
• Collaborative and flexible approach to problem-solving, ASAPP’s developers are the platform team’s customers. So being customer-centric is key to success in this role
