Senior Test Automation Engineer

Job Profile

• The selected candidate will be responsible for,
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for both functional and NFR testing (performance, security, scalability, etc.) of banking applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and business analysts, to gather requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
• Perform thorough reviews of system specifications, ensuring effective coverage of functional and non-functional criteria.
• Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with development teams for timely resolution.
• Lead efforts in performance testing using tools like Meter, LoadRunner, Play Write or similar and analyze results to provide actionable insights.
• Mentor and guide junior QA team members on automation best practices and NFR testing methodologies.
• Implement and enhance CYCD pipelines to support automated testing processes.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in test automation and NFR testing.

Applicant’s Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field,
• 5+ years of experience in test automation, with a focus on the banking or financial services domain.
• Experience in testing AI models and tools is a valuable asset.
• Proficiency in automation tools such m Selenium, Appium, Play Write, TestNG, or equivalent frameworks.
• Extensive experience with performance and security testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, OWASP ZAP),
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Cl/CD practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance standards is a plus
