IT Assistant will support the IT Manager with daily tasks related to the overall IT functions of the organization while ensuring compliance with ISO 27001 guidelines.

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Hands-on IT helpdesk support: raising tickets, resolving issues within TAT, and initial troubleshooting (OS/software installation, hardware checks).
• Expertise in printer management and weekly backups.
• Experience with firewalls (e.g., FortiGate) and IT portals for streamlined activities.
• Assist with IT procurement, vendor follow-ups, and delivery tacking.
• Maintain FT trackers and daily documentation.
• Support IT Manager in audits for compliance.
• Fluent in English and Sinhala/Tamil communication.
• Willing to travel to research sites across the country.
