IT Security Officer / Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assess security posture, identify threats, and recommend improvements.
• Implement security controls, policies, and regulatory compliance measures.
• Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents in real-time.
• Perform vulnerability management penetration testing, and patching.
• Oversee firewalls, DLP, endpoint protection, and logging solutions.
• Ensure security for cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
• Conduct security hardening, audits, and compliance assessments. Conduct real-time monitoring, analysis, and triage of security events and alerts.
• Provide cybersecurity training and promote a security-conscious culture.
• Implement security controls aligned with regulatory requirements.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with security tools (STEM, EDR, firewalls, DLP, IDS/IPS).
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks (NET, ISO 27001, CIS controls).
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance for financial institutions.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Certifications (Preferred but Not Mandatory): CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead
• Implementer/Auditor, or other relevant security certifications.
