Assistant Manager/Manager-Internal Audit

Bank of China, the fourth-largest bank in the world, with its presence in Sri Lanka for over 6 years, is currently seeking a dynamic Professional to join the team.

JOB PROFILE

• Lead internal audit engagements conforming to the applicable standards for professional practice, requirements of Regulator and Internal Audit Department of Head Office.
• Planning of the audit engagements and ensures the timely execution and completion of the audit engagements.
• Assess the Bank’s Risk Profile, evaluating the effectiveness of internal control and risk management and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Formulate/revise audit related policies, rules, standards and procedures in compliance to the Head Office and Regulatory requirements.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/ finance or equivalent discipline.
• Be a member of the CA of Sri Lanka will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 05 years of experience in the internal audit function with more than10 years of total experience in a commercial bank.
• Thorough understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements related to financial institutions in Sri Lanka.
• Proven experience in Corporate Governance Practices and Internal Control Procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Good organizational skill, Interpersonal skill, team work spirit and proactiveness.
