We are hiring for the post of Senior Java Developer
We are looking for Senior Java Developer to work in VizuaMatix’s global technical team directly attached to one of our partner organizations. Our partner is a leading provider of optimization solutions that enable operators to improve RAN spectral efficiency, boost network speed, optimize video and web traffic and generate over-the-top revenues from the mobile Internet. With offices in North America, Europe, Israel, Latin America, and Asia, it serves over 500 million subscribers daily and is proud to count among its customers top-tier mobile carriers including Orange, SKT, TIM, T-Mobile, Telefonica, Vodafone, and many other leading carriers.
The primary responsibility for the software developer will include system development of java (mainly) and C-based core frameworks and functionality.
The successful candidate will be detail-oriented and a highly motivated self-starter capable of maintaining and develop Java and C code. The Software Developer will work collaboratively with a team of developers in support of the design, creation, maintenance, and testing of video transcoding applications and infrastructures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Develop and customize the software according to client requirements
- Software project support and maintenance
- Identify and resolve client concerns
- 5-7 years of Java programming experience
- Knowledge in Java Version 1.8 or later and applicable design patterns
- Knowledge in C development
- Knowledge in Multi-threaded environments is a must
- Experience with Unix/Linux compliant systems is an advantage
- Familiarity with Tomcat, JUnit, RMI is an advantage
- Ability to manage multiple issues simultaneously
- Networking knowledge is an advantage
- Video Codecs, Containers, and transport method knowledge is an advantage.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate information (both verbal and written)
