Systems Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning, designing, and implementing IT systems.
• Conducting cost-benefit analysis for cost-efficient systems.
• Monitoring and maintaining infrastructure and IT systems.
• Managing backup and recovery platforms.
• Allocating resources for project needs and efficiency optimization.
• Ensures efficient operational systems and technical issues resolution.
• Fosters collaboration with clients, vendors, and staff.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Information Technology / Computer Science with emphasis on systems & platforms.
• Professional certifications such as Microsoft certifications, Cisco certifications, Cloud Computing certifications, Security certifications.
• Adequate knowledge of network protocols such as DNS, DHCP, IPSEC, SSL, TLS, HTTP etc.
• Understanding of IT systems, IT security, compliance and industrial standards.
• Excellent documentation and verbal communication skills in English and hands-on experience with Linux, Windows, AIX, Android operating systems.
• 03-year work experience as a System engineer.

• ComVault Backup platform
• Manage Engine
• Active Directory and 0365
• Oracle, Azure, AWS, GCP Cloud Computing platforms
• Anti-virus / EDR platforms like Eset, Sentinel One, Defender
• VMware & Oracle KVM platforms
• Storage Area Networks (SAN’s)
• SIEM Platforms
