Student Counsellor

Study Metro, a renowned international education organization, is excited to announce the opening of its branch in Sri Lanka. We are currently seeking a student counsellor to join our team as a full-time employee.

At Study Metro, our primary focus is to understand and explore the career requirements of students who are seeking higher education. As a student counsellor, you will play a crucial role in providing professional assistance and guiding students in organizing their thoughts and ideas about career choices and professional goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive counselling services and valuable information on education choices in not limited to our five primary destinations: Australia, New Zealand, UK US, and Canada.
• Help students and their families in completing applications and actively take part in events, exhibitions, and promotions in collaboration with Study Metro and its partners/clients.

  – Good IT skills – Word, excel, power point and outlook
  
  Requirements:
  – Sound knowledge of the local education system in of following destinations: Australia, New Zealand, UK, US, and Canada (Desirable)
  – One to two years preferable but we will consider new employees who is willing to learn (Training will be provided).
  – Having some knowledge of processing facts about foreign university choices, fees and other services offered by us to student and making booking.
  -Processing university application and coordination with universities and helping VISA application process
  – Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both Sinhala and English.
  – Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and meet deadlines.
  – Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  – Proficiency in computer skills.

  Salary: Base Salary plus commission
