Trainee Photographer (Gem and Jewellery)

systems that will push the boundaries and help us to scale. We are looking for a person with an interest in studio-based product photography to join us in this exciting venture. All required knowledge and training will be provided in-house

Role/Responsibilities

The main objective will be to excel within a fast-paced environment where the turnaround of images/Videos is paramount to our success- We want you to bring the products to life for our customers. You will work in our 24/7 studio based in Rajagiriya. We are looking for a self-starter with a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and drive their own development.

Primarily, the role will involve:

• Capturing photographs/videos/360deg composite images from Canon/Sony cameras
• Editing and color matching/correcting images via Photoshop/Lightroom and/or similar software
• Accurate naming and storing of files in an organized manner
• Managing photography libraries/catalogs
• Uploading media files to relevant databases

Requirements

• Passed O/L
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Strong organization skills and a responsible attitude
• Strong visual skills with an eye for detail
• Ability to manage own workload and be flexible to adapt to changing demands
• A good strong team ethic and willingness to ‘pitch in’, whenever necessary
• Knowledge of photography and related software is not required

Compensation

Negotiable. (Base + Performance Bonus)
Hours Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm
Sat 8.30a m- 1.00 pm
