Executive Chef
Rivendell Hotel Kandy is a premier tourist hotel with newly added banquet and outdoor facilities. We are seeking to appoint a qua fled, highly motivated, and experienced “Executive Chef” to oversee food preparation for both foreign and local customers.
Responsibilities
• Preparation of innovative and creative cuisine of the highest quality, presentation, flavour and consistency resulting outstanding guest satisfaction
• Preparation of menus for in-house guests, banquets, restaurant, outlet, delivery and all other food facilities
• Responsible for smooth running of the kitchen and manage areas of cost, profit, stock, wastage control, hygiene and safety practices and training wi hin the kitchen
• Arrange regular meetings with other department heads to plan and execute smooth running of services.
Qualifications
• Experience in 4 to 5 star hotel in a similar capacity
• Be innovative and customer focused
• Excellent supervisory, management as well as verbal and written skills
• Ability to adapt and work under pressure and be accountable
