Statistician

An immediate vacancy exists to join a team of young professionals involved in providing data science solutions for a reputed UK based company.

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate or Post Graduate degree in Statistics or Mathematics (with Courses in Statistics, this could also apply to a degree in Physics and Engineering)
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English essential
• Good practical understanding of multivariate time series modelling and regression modelling. A bonus would be practical knowledge of factor analysis, cluster analysis, ridge regression and lasso regression
• Comfortable with handling large data sets
• Good knowledge of Excel and any regression modelling software or R or Python
• Work experience is not required but would be a bonus

Employment Structure:

• A 12 Month renewable employment contract guaranteed with no break clause
• Work from the home model with flexible hours that shadow UK – Sri Lanka time zones
• Full-time employment with a negotiable salary
• An employment contract is exclusive. Not permitted to have a 2nd Job
• Mandatory NDA to be signed for IP protection of data
• The candidate must have their own PC
