Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured Test Cases and maintaining them in Xray
• Deep-level testing on new functionalities to cover all the edge cases
• Stick to deadlines and deliver the required level of quality
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities with other dependent teams
• Identify and report any potential quality issues per the defined process
• Closely work with the Regression Automation team and maintain the automation coverage for the team’s scope
• Participate in technical discussions and diagnose issues on an Application backend level and DB level

Requirements

• BIT/ BSc. in Computer Science or an equivalent degree with a minimum 4 years of experience in the respective field
• Strong knowledge of Software QA Methodologies, Testing Concepts, Tools and etc
• Knowledge in requirement elaboration, estimations, identifying test scenarios, and writing detailed test cases
• Troubleshooting, critical, analytical, creative thinking skills, and ability to give attention to details
• Experience in Test Strategy/ Test Plan/Release Notes is a must
• Experience and knowledge in Scrum/ Agile are a must
• Any ISTQB Certification is a must
• Experience in tools such as Jira, HP ALM, X-Ray, etc
• A fast learner and a Team player who could easily adapt to a dynamic environment and requires a minimal supervision
• Experience in Performance and Security Testing will be an added advantage
