Engineering Leads / Project Leads (Python)
Persistent Systems is looking for well-rounded Engineering Leads / Project Leads with 6+ years of industry experience in coding in Python and SQL preferably in a fast-paced dynamic environment. The ideal candidate would have a bachelor’s degree in computer science/related field with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Requirements:
- Strong coding skills in Python 8 SQL is a MUST
- Good familiarity with at least a few areas of Analytics, Such as DWH (Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery), Spark, Kafka, Scala
- In-depth knowledge of handling complex back-end architecture.
- API-driven architecture using Python.
- Familiar with Jupyter, Jenkins, and similar development 8 CICD environments.
- Expert in working with open source ecosystem
- Familiar with web-based application development
- Prior experience of working in one of the cloud environments. (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Understanding of DevOps and container/Docker technologies
- Completely Hands-on senior developer, who can solve complex problems
- Experience with collaboratively working with global teams
- Outstanding collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to effectively collaborate with a distributed team
- Results Driven and Team player
- Experience in individually contributing without supervision
- Ability to learn new technologies and processes quickly
Responsibilities:
- Design, build and maintain efficient and reliable Python code
- Developing software and overseeing the deployment of applications across platforms
- Review deliverables from the team to ensure good quality 8 future-readiness
- Provide requirement guidance and mentorship
- Drive pilots, spikes to try out new-age technologies to check the feasibility of using them
- Over the period, increase familiarity with the wider analytics landscape (Bl, DWH, BigData, AI-ML, Data Governance, and so on)
- Lead 8 Guide 2-3 people back-end team (Python, DevOps)
