Designer

We are looking for a dynamic professional with a passion to further an advanced career in Designing.

• Carry out trend work and fabric sourcing for general and customer-specific ranges.
• Design multiproduct garments that fall in line with the intended customer’s handwriting, and price points and are production feasible.
• Create detailed tech packs for sample development. Work with the merchandise, technical and sample room teams to ensure on-time and first-time-right samples.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with internal colleagues, suppliers, and customers.
• Understanding of the full development process, from fabric sourcing and trend work to design and sampling.
• Understanding of production ability to work within technical capabilities and cost limitations

Qualifications & Experience

• 3 4 years of experience in the similar field
• Academic and should possess a bachelor’s degree.
• Strong negotiation and Analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in Windows, including MS word, and PowerPoint, and Knowledge of ERP systems will be an added advantage.
• Proficient in Adobe programs eg Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
• Should possess a proactive and can-do attitude.
• An excellent team player with the ability to be self-motivated and work independently.
• Excel and Excellent time management- able to work to tight deadlines, super organized, should be able to work with ad hoc/urgent requests.
