District Coordinator – Batticaloa

Sarvodaya, the premier voluntary social development organization in Sri Lanka immediately requires dynamic, self-motivated and service-oriented person to fill the following vacancy.

Qualifications

• Degree in Sociology or Social Work / Advanced Diploma in Social Works from the National Institute of Social Development or from any other recognized institution; completion of parallel qualifications and at least 02 years of experience working with Community Based Organizations. OR
• Passed G.C.E. Advanced Level and Experience in at least 5 years at a Sarvodaya Shramadana Society or affiliated entity to Sarvodaya or as volunteer for such activities. WITH
• Ability and experience in community empowerment
• Proven experience of building gassroot level leadership / strengthen community based organizations
• Experience of implementing ground level projects
• Experience and basic knowledge of social entrepreneurship
• The ability to work with governmental and non-government organizations
• Should have pleasant communication skills
• Ability to handle the English language, Knowledge in Sinhala will be an advantage
• Pleasant personality
• Basic knowledge in computer literacy
• Valid driving license

Age: Not more than 40 years on 07th February 2022
Remuneration:-Rs.25,000/= and other allowances with facilities
