Mechanical Technician-(Male)

Requirements

• Followed minimum of two years full-time technical course in mechanical engineering technology, or similar
• Experience in FMCG (Food) industry would be an added advantage
• A minimum of two years experience as a mechanical technician in a related industry
• Experience in Pillow pack machines & confectionary industry would be an added advantage
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering designs, installations, maintenance, and repairs
• Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Willingness to be developed as a Multi-skilled technician
• Willingness to perform maintenance and repairs outside of business hours
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Great organizational and time management abilities

Mechanical Technician Responsibilities

• Assisting the mechanical engineer with mechanical design and maintenance tasks
• Installing and performing diagnostic tests on mechanical systems
• Developing and implementing Preventive Maintenance plans to minimize costly equipment breakdowns
• Troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns as well as performing repairs
