Recruitment Officer

JB Apparel — Lanka Garment Manufacturing Company Limited, a subsidiary of Jafferjee Brothers Group of Companies, has been in operations for the past four decades, housing two manufacturing facilities with a direct workforce of over 1000.
We are looking for a dynamic, result-oriented candidate who would like to start his/her career in HR for our factory located in Koggala.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of the recruitment plan and execution.
• Handling end to end recruitment and selection process (preparing advertisements, posters, shortlisting of candidates, scheduling of interviews, documentation, onboarding, and other related activities)
• Organizing recruitment campaigns.
• Ensure that the cadre requirement is fulfilled and maintain a talent pipeline
• Plan the retention strategies and handling of absenteeism in the factory.
• Conducting exit interviews.
• Regular interaction with the employees and handling employee grievances.

Requirements:

• GCE A/L
• Part Qualification in HRM will have an added advantage
• Minimum 2 years experience in handling recruitment
• Good relationship with community/recruitment agent/local authorities in order to recruit the required team.
• Good communication skills.
• Can-do attitude with a sense of urgency

The selected candidate would be provided with a remuneration package on par with industry standards.
