Senior HR Executive – Mannar

Ours is a 100% foreign-owned BOI company with Knitted baby garment manufacturing plants in the Seethawaka EPZ Zone, Monaragalaj Mathara, and Trincomalee. In order to meet our expansion plans for our new factory unit, we are in the process of putting together a team of dynamic, innovative, and self-motivated leaders who will achieve their dreams, by developing our factories into one of the best technology-driven states of the art, machines, Knit baby garment manufacturing cluster to achieve the corporate goal of being the leading baby garment manufacturer in the world.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop professional relationships with employees on the production floor and effectively manage daily absenteeism as per the expected standards of the factory
• Coordinate with all assistant production managers and address potential problems on a daily basis
• Identify team-wise leaders on the production floor in consultation with the production managers based on worker’s weekly performance
• Have good experience in recruitment and manage the end-to-end recruitment process in the assigned production floor lines
• Have the ability to complete face-to-face interviews within 10 minutes by asking the right questions
• Initiate motivational programs for workers in the production lines

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in human resource management or business management
• 5 years of experience in HRM with a minimum of 3 years in executive management
• Previous experience in the apparel industry will be preferred but not necessary

NOTE that we are looking for candidates from the North of Sri Lanka who is well versed in the Tamil language, and is culturally self-aware and sensitive to the sub-cultural norms of the Northern region.
