Recruitment Executive – Mannar

Ours is a 100% foreign-owned BOI company with Knitted baby garment manufacturing plants in the Seethawaka EPZ Zone, Monaragalaj Mathara, and Trincomalee. In order to meet our expansion plans for our new factory unit, we are in the process of putting together a team of dynamic, innovative, and self-motivated leaders who will achieve their dreams, by developing our factories into one of the best technology-driven states of the art, machines, Knit baby garment manufacturing cluster to achieve the corporate goal of being the leading baby garment manufacturer in the world.

Job Responsibilities

• Reviewing recruitment shortfalls in all Mannar geographical areas and ensure that active recruitment and advertisements are placed to source talent to fill key deficit areas
• Responsible for sourcing, attracting, and retaining diverse candidates on a daily basis
• Responsible for screening large volumes of candidates efficiently using smart analytical techniques
• Shortlisting and interviewing candidates according to various factory-grade levels and experience requirements
• Responsible for reference checking candidates at the executive and above levels
• Ensuring newly hired employees are well trained and retained for the first 4 months of employment
• Having effective public communication skills to address large audiences at job fairs and other recruitment events

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in human resource management or business management
• 5 years of experience in recruitment väth minimum 3 years in mass volume recruitment
• Previous experience in the apparel industry will be preferred but not necessary

NOTE that we are looking for candidates from the North of Sri Lanka who is well versed in the Tamil language, and is culturally self-aware and sensitive to the sub-cultural norms of the Northern region.
