The Job
As the Assistant Manager Customer Marketing (General Trade), the incumbent will be responsible for assisting the Senior Manager – Shopper & Customer Marketing to evaluate the strategic & execution priorities within the General Trade, initiate and plan on the Category/Trade interventions for General Trace Channels ensuring that all planned activities are executed on time, in full and monitored for effective delivery of the KPIs. The position holder will take the ownership of conducting the Monthly Cycle Planning Process with the relevant stakeholders in Sales, Planning, Marketing, Customer Marketing, Finance, and Sales Support for the assigned categories. Further, will be responsible for identifying shopper and channel needs through internal & external market data and launch shopper promotions and loyalty programs to increase company market share in the General Trade Channels.
The Person
The ideal candidate should possess an MBA and or Degree in Business Management or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution and have at leaser 2 3 years’ overall experience in Sales & Marketing in an FMCG company & have exposure in the area of General Trade, Channel Strategy Development & Stakeholder Management.
