Health & Safety Officer – (Male)

Personal Specification

• Should be a male candidate.
• Age should be below 30 years.
• Diploma in NIOSH/ SHE/ Industrial Management or any other higher qualification in similar capacities.
• At least 1-2 years experience in a manufacturing environment would be an added advantage.
• Excellent organizational skills, Teamwork, effective communication skills.
• Ability to work on a roster basis.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain & Develop EHS Systems for ISO 45001:2018 & ISO 14001:2015.
• Maintain legal requirements with respect to EHS & communicate with legal authorities (CEA, Labor Department, BOI, etc.)
• Hazard Identification & Risk assessment (HIRA), EHS Trainings (Fire Drills, Spill Drills, First Aid, Chemical Handling, etc.)
• Emergency Preparedness & coordination with the team.
• Identify Near Misses, Unsafe conditions, Acts, Accident and Incident Investigations for root causes & take corrective actions
• Conduct Internal Audits & Facilitate External Audits to evaluate the overall performance of management systems
• Handling of Outside contractors.
