IT Executive

GRI is a leading specialty tire producer in Sri Lanka. We have been supplying tires to more than 50 countries worldwide since 2002. GRI has sales offices in the United States, Germany, France, Netherlands, Spain, the Baltics, and Australia. We produce high-performance tires for Agriculture, Material Handling, and Construction vehicles.

GRI is Seeking a results-driven, high energy and dynamic individual as an IT Executive in our Factory in Badalgama.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting & maintaining software and hardware devices.
• Manage and support wired and wireless LAN network infrastructure
• Perform scheduled data backups and disaster recovery operations
• Provide L1 and L2 problem-solving services to network users
• Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware and software resources
• Perform routine workstation maintenance and updates for performance efficiency
• Maintain PABX, CCTV, and Biometrics readers
• Repairing computer-related equipment and replacing parts if required
• Hands-on experience on Microsoft server and workstation operating systems and service including AD, DNS, DJCP, RDP, and group
• Policy administration
• Knowledge in VMware, Cisco Citrix, SQL Sophos, Cyberoam, ERR 0365, Linux will be an advantage
• Be highly disciplined and able to work independently and in harmony with the team as well.
• Willingness to learn new technologies
• Ability to work under pressure and on-call support when required
• Performs any other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Head of IT or by the Management.

The ideal candidate will possess the following key drivers:

• Age should be above 19 years
• 2 years’ experience in a similar field/role is an advantage.
• Diploma in the field of information technology [hardware and network certification]
• Industry certification such as Microsoft, Cisco, LPI /RHCSA would be added qualification
