Microbiologist

Ceylon Beverage International (Pvt) Ltd. is a BOI-approved contract Can and PET bottle filling company for both local and export markets. As a newly incorporated associate company of Ceylon Beverage Can (Pvt) Ltd., We are looking for an energetic individual having a willingness to take ownership of their work, in an intense, high-pressure environment.

Required Qualifications

• BSc in Food Science from a recognized university which includes microbiology as the main subject
• Experience in the food & beverage sector with advanced knowledge of microbiology-related testing and equipment.
• Knowledge in Fssc 22000 : 2018& & ISO 9001 : 2015 certification and regulations.
• Good team player and has excellent communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Planning and carrying out all microbiology-related testing and documentation.
• Ensuring the analysis reports are in accordance with required specifications.
• Inventory management in the microbiology laboratory.
• Communicating microbiology-related issues timely.
• Coordinate with outside laboratories for microbiology-related testing.
• Active participation in the continual improvement of the organization via identifying new gaps and rectifying them in a convenient manner.
