Senior Software Engineer

Role Profile

• Deliver business value through software applications, by understanding information requirements and value drivers at different levels in the organization
• Deliver robust, quality solutions to meet business objectives and stakeholder expectations
• Keep abreast of new technologies/ best practices, carry out research & propose new solutions for the growing IT needs of the organization
• Responsible for the total solution from requirements analysis, solution architecture, database design, technical specifications, coding, testing, user training, and implementation
• Responsible for ensuring a high level of data integrity and application security
• Responsible for ensuring complete functional, technical, and project documentation
• Responsible for resolving software application issues in a timely manner to ensure minimum interruption to business, suggest corrective and preventive action

Personal Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification
• 3 years’ relevant experience in Software Engineer/developer position
• Experience in Postgresql, Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL database technologies and PHP, Bootstrap front end framework, AJAX/JQuery, Jasper
• Experience in Android based development using Java/ React-native, HTML5, SQLite/ other databases
• Knowledge and experience in data synchronization methods REST/ SOAP/ JSON and working with Cloud laaS &
  PaasS solutions will be an advantage
• Good understanding of documentation standards & software development best practices
• Experience in managing software projects & PMP certification will be an advantage
• Ability to demonstrate leadership skills, analytical & problem-solving skill, and project management skills
• Being an active and participative team player with a positive attitude and commitment
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision, and extended hours if required
