Objective of this Role
- Maintain essential IT/Call center operations, including operating systems, network, PBX, applications, servers, email systems and hardware.
- Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems admin- istration.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies hard. ware, and software.
- Track and maintain hardware and software inventory
- Develop and execute disaster procedures, and maintain data backups.
- Manage IT staff by training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance.
- Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time.
- Audit systems and assess their outcomes.
- Work towards the user’s needs by identifying problem areas and implement solutions quickly.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science Engineering or Information Technology from a reputed University
- 5+ years experience in IT management
- Experience with or knowledge of Networking and operating systems (Active Directory, Open source and other Windows-based systems), current equipment and technologies, backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring
- Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
- Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation.
- Excellent communication skills
