Accountant

Opportunity for work from home (Strictly for Australian Accounting/ Tax experience holders) Accounting & Business Consulting practice seeks an Accountant to work as an offshore staff. The position will be full-time and based in our Sri Lankan Office or work at your home.

You will be an energetic and proactive individual with the ability to prioritize and use your strong communication skills to manage competing work priorities to meet the company deadlines. You will also understand the importance of using your initiative and drive to continually strive for the best outcomes and solutions.

Perform day-to-day accounting functions across the business including but not limited to:

• Preparing Individual and Company tax returns for Australian Clients
• Preparation of BAS
• Monthly journals and account reconciliations.
• Preparation of Financial accounts /statements
• General Bookkeeping

The Skills and qualities of the successful applicant will be:

• Minimum of one-year experience in Public Accounting of AUSTRALIAN COMPANY/ BPO
• Clear and fluent communication skills in English
• A Diploma/degree in Accounting
• Minimum of 02 years experience with QuickBooks Online, MYOB, and Xero accounting applications
• Attention to detail is a must
• Excellent rapport-building skills
• Strong administration skills with Intermediate level of Office applications
