Software Project Manager

Essential Skills & Responsibilities

• Degree in computer science, business, or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience in project management and software development processes
• Experience leading developers and designers
• Experience in scheduling, preparing presentations and status reports
• Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
• Ability to communicate concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Excellent English is written and oral communication skills
• Determine and define project scope and objectives
• Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
• Prepare a budget based on the scope of work and resource requirements
• Track project costs in order to meet the budget
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution
• Manage customer experience and delight customers

Desirable Skills

• Experience with Atlassian (JIRA. Confluence)
• Experience working in or with businesses in a variety of verticals
• Former developer or engineer turned project/ product leader
