Assistant Finance Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local accounting standards (SLFRS/IFRS).
  • Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to guide financial decision-making.
  • Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance to optimize company resources.
  • Conduct cost analysis and expense control to improve financial efficiency
  • Manage banking operations, including fund transfers, forex transactions, and loan repayments.
  • Supervise accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
  • Coordinate payroll processing and statutory payments (EPF, ETF, etc.).

REQUIRMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CA Sri Lanka / CIMA / ACCA / CMA / CPA or equivalent qualification (part or fully qualified).
  • 3-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field (preferably in a managerial role).
  • Experience in SAP, QuickBooks, or ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
