Assistant Finance Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local accounting standards (SLFRS/IFRS).
- Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to guide financial decision-making.
- Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance to optimize company resources.
- Conduct cost analysis and expense control to improve financial efficiency
- Manage banking operations, including fund transfers, forex transactions, and loan repayments.
- Supervise accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
- Coordinate payroll processing and statutory payments (EPF, ETF, etc.).
REQUIRMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CA Sri Lanka / CIMA / ACCA / CMA / CPA or equivalent qualification (part or fully qualified).
- 3-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field (preferably in a managerial role).
- Experience in SAP, QuickBooks, or ERP systems is an advantage.
