Trainee Analyst/QA Engineer
Arithmos (Pvt) Ltd is a BigData/Hadoop service provider in Colombo. Our client is one of the largest insurance companies on Wall Street with an extended offshore BigData / DevOps team based in Colombo.
Arithmos (Pvt) Ltd currently seeks a Software Engineer to join our team. The selected candidate will be trained as Analyst/QA Engineer (on-the-job training). This is a unique opportunity to directly work with the in-house team with exposure to cutting-edge technologies and a large US corporate culture. We are looking for individuals who are highly motivated and talented with the ability to quickly learn new
and unfamiliar technologies to become part of the global team.
Education:
- A Bachelor’s degree in any one of the following fields Computer science, Information technology, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Mathematics, Science, or equivalent academic qualification.
- Any Diploma in computer, software, Linux, or similar discipline will be an added advantage but not required.
Experience:
Not required, recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Skills Required:
- Basic knowledge of SQL
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Analytical skills
Optional skills:
- Programming skills in Java or any language
- Familiarly with Linux/Unix Operating systems
- Fundamentals of ETL technologies
