With over 20 hotels and resorts under the brands Heritance, Adaaran, Turyaa, and Aitken Spence Hotels & Resorts — Aitken Spence Hotels has a presence in Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Oman, and India.

We require a dynamic, result-oriented, and highly motivated individual to be a part of the Spensonian family.

The ideal candidate should possess ;

• The GCE A/Ls and a Degree/Diploma in Purchasing/Merchandising and 2 years experience in a similar capacity
  or
• The GCE A/ Ls with 5 years of experience in a similar capacity
• Good planning, organizing, analytical, communication, and interpersonal slums, along with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines are key attributes and competencies sought

Main duties and responsibilities include;

• Obtaining quotations and samples from suppliers on receipt of the Purchase Requisition Form
• Negotiating terms and conditions related to price, delivery, etc
• Raising Purchase Orders and following up with suppliers on the delivery of goods
• Checking samples and rectifying any quality or delivery issues
• Conducting market surveys and preparing the necessary reports
