International Accountant
Intuition Consultancies Inc, a progressive and innovative leader in the IT sector providing IT Services and Cyber Security, is seeking a versatile and skilled International Accountant. This position is pivotal in managing our accounting practices across Canada, the US, Australia, and Sri Lanka. The ideal candidate will be adept in handling a diverse range of financial tasks, ensuring compliance with international financial standards and accommodating financial audits.
Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST, with the flexibility to be available in AEST time zone as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage accounting practices across Canada, US, Australia, and Sri Lanka. • Conduct regular bookkeeping tasks, including managing 50-100 transactions per month across all systems. • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate financial records across different countries. • Generate detailed profitability reports by customer and product. • Handle debt collection processes and manage billing and payment processes efficiently. • Oversee the quotation and tender process, ensuring compliance with international financial policies. • Prepare and present management and financial reports for multiple countries. • Be proficient in ZOHO Books and other relevant accounting software. • Collaborate with Directors and teams across different countries to align financial practices with company strategies. • Implement and maintain robust internal financial controls and procedures. • Prepare for and accommodate financial audits in various jurisdictions. • Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting in a multi-national context. • Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and international financial reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Qualifications
• Proficiency in accounting software, especially ZOHO Books, and MS Office. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks across different countries and time zones. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Strong experience in international accounting, particularly across Canada, US, Australia, and Sri Lanka. Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and international tax laws. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a multicultural environment. Time management skills with the ability to most international deadlines.

• CPA or equivalent professional certification. • Experience in the IT sector. • Experience in managing financial audits in an international context.
