ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Database Administration for MS Azure SQL Server
  • Create and operate backups, restores, and recovery procedures
  • Maintain documentation for IT processes, procedures, automation, trouble tickets, network configurations, hardware/software inventory, and audit requests
  • Create and maintain Indexes, index management, and statistics
  • Manage and prioritize multiple related projects, including troubleshooting, operations, and maintenance of the enterprise in a team environment
  • Off-hours work as required
    REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of experience in the IT field or in a related discipline
  • 3+ years of DBA experience with MS Azure SQL Server v11/v12, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Always On Availability, and SQL Serer Transaction Replication
  • 2+ years of PowerShell or equivalent scripting experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in Performance Tuning and Query Optimization using related tools
  • Experience evaluating current database environments to enhance reliability and security of the database infrastructure.
