 Summary: 

We are looking for a skilled Web Developer to join our team and take ownership of the serverside development of our web applications. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with a strong background in backend technologies, database management, and server-side programming.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side components of web applications to ensure optimal performance, responsiveness, and security. 
•  Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Create and maintain APIs for seamless communication between the frontend and backend systems. 
• Optimize database queries, design, and management for efficient data storage and retrieval. 
• Identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and optimize application code for scalability. 
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access. 
•  Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve our backend development practices.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 
• Proven experience as a Backend Web Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of past projects. 
• Proficiency in server-side programming languages such as Node.js, Python, Ruby, or Java. 
• 2+ years of Experience with web frameworks like Express.js, Django, Ruby on Rails, or Spring Boot. 
• Solid understanding of database management systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases. 
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and implementation.
• Knowledge of web security best practices and experience implementing security measures. 
•  Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment. 
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies is a plus. 
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization (e.g., Docker) is a plus.
