Senior/ DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Be part of dynamic. cross-functional team: rapidly resolve complex & major incidents across enterprise compute estate
• Perform in-depth root cause analysis and provide meaningful feedback. including full-stack tracing, to ensure issues of the same class cannot recur in production
• Create and update high quality, readable documentation to address known issues, workarounds, and service requests
• Support problem management team in performing post mortems, incident timelines & identifying corrective actions
• Perform and support the implementation of corrective actions from the problem management process
• Provide ongoing feedback to improve the service request process
• Support the change management and supplier process across the service
• Resolve non-standard requests, Action operational items
• Work with other Service Center functions to define and produce various internal and customer reports

Requirements

• A minimum of 3-year experience of building and operating Kubernetes in production
• Hands-on experience in Azure Kubernetes administration in production ideally with Azure Cloud (A1(S) experience
• Experience in 24×7 service delivery in an SLA/KPI-driven environment
• Experience in supporting middleware products: Docker, Weblogic, Microsoft 11S, Nginx web/ Apache/OHS web server
• Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) Certifications
• Experience in CI/CD toolsets: Jenkins, Gjtlab & JSON, JAML
• Basic Powershell. Azure CLI and/or Bash scripting knowledge
• Azure Certification / Accreditation. Linux, Windows, Azure administration and operations
• Experience in the provision of cloud computing services or IT service delivery
• Some experience with SOL Oracle database administration & knowledge of ERP systems
• A formal qualification (MSc, Degree) in Computer Science Cloud Computing, Technology, or similar
• ITIL Foundation, MCP, Red Hat, Microsoft Azure certifications, Cisco CC, JNCP, CompTIA qualifications are added value
