Technical Support Engineer

We are looking for passionate candidates to join the Sri Lankan operations of an Australian-based cutting-edge Technology Company serving both government and private organizations in Australia, England, and New Zealand.

This can be a part-time/full-time (multiple positions available) contract with the possibility to join the permanent carder based on your performance. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line functional support to Customers, liaising directly with them to resolve complex queries (e.g. application queries, training, reports, and user documentation).
  • Ability to work directly with foreign clients with minimum supervision
  • Maintain a high degree of customer service for all queries providing concise and accurate information
  • Effectively troubleshoot bugs, and issues and communicate with all team members to efficiently deal with challenging situations.
  • Ensure administration, such as time sheets are completed timely and accurately Essential
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science IT or equivalent qualification
  • Excellent English verbal & written communication skills.
  • Strong Customer Sen./ice focus
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to solve problems
  • Logical Decision making and ability to take initiative
  • Strong sense of achievement (results and delivery oriented)

Preferred

  • Experience working with ERP systems.
  • Understanding of business and accounting processes.
  • Experience using SQL, VB.Net, and Jira
