Finance Business Partner – Returns Management.

Experience: 4-6 years I Work from home I01pm-10pm (SL Time) The Senior Finance Business Partner for Returns Operations is responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of the returns process across all marketplaces. This role focuses on analyzing and optimizing financial performance related to returns, managing disputed claims, and ensuring accurate financial reporting, The position requires collaboration with the customer service, warehouse, and operations teams to align financial objectives with overall business goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Financial Oversight of Returns Process:
• Monitor and analyze the financial impact of returns and disputes across all marketplaces.
• Ensure accurate financial tracking of returns, including disputed claims, refunds. and revenue recovery.
• Develop financial models to forecast the cost implications of returns and propose mitigation strategies.
• Dispute Management & Resolution:
• Lead financial reconciliation of disputed returns, ore u ring timely and accurate resolution with marketplace Partners,
• Work closely with the customer service team to track and resolve high-value disputes, minimizing financial losses.
• Maintain detailed financial records for disputes and resolved claims to support audit requirements.
• 1 Data Analysis & Reporting:
• Oversee the accuracy°, the system central log for financial data related to returns.
• Generate and present financial performance reports, including insights on returns value, disputes aging, and claims success rates.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management for improving financial efficiency in the returns process.
• Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: •
• Partner with the warehouse team to ensure the cost-effectiveness of returns handling and resale preparation.
• Collaborate with customer service to align dispute resolution strategies with financial objectives
• Support the operations team in implementing process improvements that reduce financial leakage from returns.
• KPI Monitoring St Achievement:
• Track and deliver key financial performance

• Percentage of claims recovered from disputes.

  Qualifications :
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s or professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or CPA preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in a senior finance role within e-commerce. retail. or logistics.
• Proven leadership experience with cross functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of financial reconciliation. claims management, and reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in financial software (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, Power BI)
• Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and develop actionable strategies.
