AVONET is looking for talented and highly motivated Software Engineers to be based in Sri Lanka with extensive skills to deliver services, help us innovate and improve our products. This is a role for a Technologist who is highly passionate about the best one can deliver. The role fundamentally will involve working on an engineering role on full-scale application development as the need fits.
Key responsibilities shall include:
- Work closely with the team in completing PHP projects
- Troubleshoot and fix any issues relating to PHP programs
- Ensure smooth operations of web processes and infrastructure
- Create scripts to facilitate client systems to meet performance and objectives
- Test and develop software for client applications
- Produce results effectively and within the deadlines set
Required qualifications shall be:
- Proven 1+ years experience as a PHP developer in a competitive environment
- Strong knowledge of PHP coding and web-based applications
- Good understanding of website integration and software creation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to follow clear instructions according to client demands
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Creative ability to produce effective solutions to client problems
- Good team player that is enthusiastic about delivering results
Ideally, you will be someone who works with Enterprise products and is involved with peers in terms of working on innovative technologies, methods, and projects. You should also be willing to work with a remote team and willing to work overseas, in Australia for short periods of time, soon after
pandemic travel restrictions are lifted.
