Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured Test Cases and maintain them in X-Ray
• Deep level testing on new functionalities to cover all the edge cases
• Stick to deadlines and deliver the required level of quality
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities with other dependent teams
• Identify and report any potential quality issues per defined process
• Closely work with Regression Automation team and maintain the automation coverage for the team’s scope

Requirements

• BIT/ BSc. in Computer Science or a related degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the respective field
• Strong knowledge in Software QA Methodologies, Testing Concepts, Tools and etc
• Knowledge in requirement elaboration, estimations, identifying test scenarios, and writing detailed test cases
• Critical and creative thinking skills and ability to give attention to details
• Experience and knowledge in Scrum/ Agile
• A fast learner and a Team player who could easily adapt to a dynamic environment who requires a minimal supervision
• Experience in Finance/ Payments domain will be an added advantage
• Experience in Performance and Security Testing will be an added advantage
• Any ISTQB qualification would be an added advantage
