Senior Software Engineer – FullStack (Java, React, Oracle, Linux Server)

vfullstack is Switzerland and Sri Lanka-based software development services provider for tech companies. We are looking for an experienced senior software engineer to join our engineering team in Sri Lanka. You will have the opportunity to work with the core development team in Switzerland to develop, maintain and improve front-end applications, back-end applications, and DevOps- We are looking for a passionate engineer to solve engineering challenges in different parts of the product, you help challenge the status quo and you are very eager to develop new skills. The candidate should be heavily motivated by both the product and the technology stack.

Key Qualifications

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science or engineering, or equivalent experience
• At least 4+ years of industry experience in software engineering and automation
• Thinking outside the box, critical evaluation, and communication skills
• Programming skills in any React, Java Spring Boot
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, My SQL, Maria DB, Microsoft SQL Server, Ne04j, Redis is a plus
• Experience in using docker-based development and deployment with CI/CD
• Linux basic in bash scripting, ssh, SCP, process monitoring, service execution in Linux environment, and troubleshooting in production Linux servers
• Experience in server virtualization with OVM and KVM-based implementation
• Understanding of Oracle Enterprise Database Architecture and RAC architecture
• Understanding basic networking concepts and how VIP, VLAN works in a server cluster-based environment
